CADC V3.0 now supports Proactive Remote Services and the ISEE
connectivity model.
The Crash Analysis Data Collector (CADC) application
supports the collection of operating system crash
information for analysis of the crash. CADC collects system
crash information into a crash footprint and sends that data
for off-site analysis at a Customer Support Center using
CCAT.The crash data is automatically sent using Proactive
Remote Services (PRS), DSNlink, or ISEE as the transfer
method to the Customer Support Center, with SMTP mail used
for local notification at your site.
Upon completion of the crash analysis, a repair plan is
generated and the customer is notified of the results and
the action plan to resolve the issue. If the footprint is
new to CCAT the solution will be entered into the ruleset
when it is found.
ENP is available for remote connectivity configurations.
The Event Notification Program (ENP) for DECevent and CADC
is now available for download. ENP allows current DECevent
and CADC customers to route their events through ISEE.
