1 SLES 10 = SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10. Call for certification and support plans of SLES 10 XEN.
2 SLES 10 XEN = HP supports SLES10 XEN as a technology preview for early adoptors.
HP has certified and will support these servers with the following caveats:

  • No SAN support
  • No HP agent support
  • Para-virtualized SLES10 guest OS support only in all three XEN kernels

3 HP certified SLES 10 SP1 XEN using SUSE's para-virtualized drivers available in SUSE's SUSE Linux Enterprise Virtual Machine Driver Pack. HP strongly recommends using SUSE's para-virtualized drivers with XEN. HP has certified and will support these servers with the following caveats:

  • No SAN support
  • No HP agent support

4 HP management Agent support is now available with the SLES 10 XEN Kernel on SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 SP2 and the HP Linux ProLiant Support Pack version 8.10.
5 SLES 11 = SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 11
SLES11 will be supported with the HP ProLiant Support Pack for SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 11 version 8.25 which will release in the June 2009 timeframe.
6 OES = OES is SUSE Open Enterprise Server (currently shipping version 2.0). OES is a bundle which includes both SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (32-bit and 64-bit versions) and also NetWare (32-bit only), as well as a variety of add-on proprietary and open source networking utilities.
